Fort Collins has lots to see and do. The most recent addition to its attractions is "Soapstone" natural area. Packed full of archaeological and historic artifacts this region is due to open in 2009. If you cannot wait until then check out Avery House or The Old Federal Building. The Lincoln Center is the place to go for live entertainment and exhibitions. It boasts two theaters, four exhibition galleries and a concert hall. There are plenty of festivals, which run through the year. These kick off with St Patrick's Day, followed by Cinco de Mayo, Colorado Brewers Festival and Larimer County Fair to name a few.
The area is superb for hiking, and biking with 75 miles of cycle ways, running through scenic landscapes. Lory State Park offers horse riding, and there are plenty of golf clubs in which to practice your swing.

Roosevelt National Forest is close by and you can sample white water rafting, fishing, hunting, and camping. Check out Discovery Center Science Museum, ideal for your "inner child" or if you simply enjoy finding out how things work.
